Embrocation SSR: 02

James can build a mean bike.... with a little help from Campagnolo Super Record 11, Zero-G Brakes and some Fulcrum wheels.
A little sterling silver on the front never hurts.
As you can see, James is a big fan of the little rubber doughnuts on the cables, his ride must be silent.
By clicking on the image you can zoom in on the sweet welds.... you know you want to.

Embrocation SSR: 01

We just completed an SSR for James Morrison from Embrocation Magazine, who also races on the Embrocation/Cambridge Bicycle Team. These are just some shots of the frame.
We are going to do a little "before and after". James will bring by the built up bicycle for another shoot in a couple of days. The colors are Midnight Blue Metallic and Lambo Green (2008 color), with a classic stainless steel polish on the stays.

Stay tuned for the completed bicycle....

A friend to brighten even the most gloomy day.
Dependability is important in a friend like this.

Rapha Frames: Cranky and North

Shipping out today are another pair of SSR Rapha frames. All of the frames we make for and/or in conjunction with Rapha get the sterling silver Rapha headbadge, cast by our jewelers up in Maine.
Each frame and fork has painted in graphics and polished stainless steel rear ends.

It seems as though everyone that rides for Rapha has superhero names.
There are a few more that will be shipping soon. Unfortunately we won't be able to do a group shot with all of them.

Sorta like this:

Clint's SSR

Here are some pictures of Clint's SSR after a long weekend rain-ride.
There is something I really like about photographing dirty bikes.
Raceblade fenders still attached.
Red, white and blue accents throughout.

GTL Team Issue Deluxe

Independent Fabrication team racer Greg "The Leg" Montello received his Team Issue steel Deluxe the other day. We had a few moments with it in the photo studio before he took it to the woods and soiled it.

Painted in initials.

Sterling silver headbadge.

Gusset underneath headtube/downtube intersection (standard on all steel bikes).

He has been racing singlespeeds for years and with the Paragon Disc "Slider" dropouts (with hanger), he has the option to switch between geared and singlespeed.
